3 THIS WEEK'S LIGHT
Time Management Tip
=================================
This
is a practical time management tip for those who run one-person
Internet businesses.
If
you're like me and the rest of the Internet entrepreneur population,
you tend to get caught up in one aspect of your business. I
keep
redesigning my site. I have to force myself to focus on other
things.
I'm
proud to say that pandecta.com hasn't changed significantly
for
about 4 months.
The
result of time management: More time spent on important stuff.
Here's
some mission criticals for Internet business. On which one do
you spend the least amount of time?
-
Market research
- Product development
- Selling
- Marketing
(Yes,
there's a difference between sales and marketing. Sales is about
turning your web site visitors into buyers. Things like copy
writing and web design go here. Marketing is about getting web
site
visitors.)
O.K.,
so you spend almost no time doing market research - for example.
Starting today, the time from 3:45 pm to 4:00 pm is market
research time. Make a recurring appointment in your diary and
stick
to it.
Don't
know where to start? It's downhill all the way. Just get started.
It gets easier real fast. Go to Google and type something like
"How to
do market research online" or "Internet market research"
etc.
Have
a good week.
